Nona is a Roman Goddess of Pregnancy sculpted from Portland stone. A ‘self-taught’ sculptor and artist, Jonathan lives at the foot of the South Downs, within the South Downs National Park. The Roman Villa of Bignor is close to Jonathan’s home and this has led to the start of a series of sculptures termed ‘Household Gods’; here you see Nona a Roman Goddess of Pregnancy.
